Daniel (Dan) A. Purington, 67 passed away on April 4th, 2026. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. In his free time he enjoyed racing, fishing and spending time with his family. He loved music so much his eyes would light up when he had the opportunity to share a new song he had discovered.

His favorite time of year was spring through late fall, also known as horseshoe season. It was a weekly event shared with family and friends. The door was always open for new faces. His competitiveness, short patience and love were always present.

Dan is survived by his siblings: Clifford Purington; Robin Asselin; Joni Chopp; Denise Purington; Cynthia Griswold and Patricia Beaudoin, his children: Siobhan Baron and Danny Purington and his grandchildren Mia and Liam Hutchison.

A graveside service will be held on June 6th at Pine Grove Cemetery in Weare, NH at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granite VNA.
