Daniel K. Whitmore

Daniel K. Whitmore, 75, of Manchester, passed away on September 2, 2022.

He was born in Manchester on April 14, 1947, the son of Daniel P. and Rita (Roux) Whitmore. Daniel was a United States Army Veteran. He had worked as a computer technician for many years until his retirement. He loved listening to all kinds of music, especially R & B and classic rock. He was a huge Boston sports fan, supporting both professional and college teams. He enjoyed nature, taking long walks, going to NH lakes, and spending time at New Castle beach.

Family members include his daughter, Shellie Whitmore of Tampa, FL; his granddaughter, Justina Whitmore of MA; one great grandson Gaebriel; his close long-time friend, Pauline Demers.  He also leaves behind his prior wife, Denise Whitmore as well as many close friends and cousins. 

Calling hours will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Friday from 3 to 6 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 PM. Burial with military honors will take place later this fall at the NH State Veterans Cemetery.
