Danny E. Martel

Danny E. Martel, 63, of Manchester, NH died on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Community, in Manchester, NH. 

Mr. Martel was born on November 30, 1960, in Sherbrooke, Canada, the son of the late Armand & Yvette (LaPointe) Martel. 

He was a veteran, and served in the United States Marine Corps. 

Mr. Martel was a drywall taper and employed by Painters and Allied Trades, DC 35. 

He enjoyed spending time with his family on their many trips to Canada, delicious holiday meals, and remodeling projects. He was fond of playing hockey as a teenager and thought Norway was the most beautiful place. 

Members of his family include; his older brother: Yvon Martel, his late brother Rene Martel, his younger sister: Sylvie Martel, and his niece, Kristen Russell of Manchester, NH. He also leaves behind many close cousins of the Boucher Family (Alan, Bert, Mario, Ben, and Claude) and friends; Eric Atkins, Donald Ficek and Richard Drouin.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers with military honors will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
