David M. Ayoub

December 3, 1953 — May 10, 2024

Salisbury, NH

It is with great sadness that we share that David M. Ayoub, “ PA “, of Salisbury, NH  entered his eternal rest on May 10, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving family while he fought his best fight against cancer in the same way he lived his life, head on, looked straight in the eye and knew exactly where you stood. He did it his way.

Dave was Born December 3,1953 in Roxbury, MA. He was the oldest of six children growing up in Boston, then Quincy MA. He married Donna in 1978 and fell in love with the country life. He chose Salisbury to raise their twin daughters and was proud of doing anything their house needed on his own.

David will be dearly missed by all and his secret of being a “Gentle Giant “ is safe with all who knew him. He was known as the man who could fix anything. If you need to use one of his tools, just ask, he knew exactly where it is. But you can be sure he will ask later “ where is it”. His wit and humor he kept Guarded. You had to find the key, but once you did you were forever entertained. He was known to his family as “ The Man, The myth, the bad influence!“ he was always in trouble when it came to his Pride and Joys, his grand kids. Many times they’ve  been seen putting him in time outs!

He was a man of many hats from flooring specialist, technician at Sprague Electric, security guard, bouncer, machinist at OD Hopkins and maintenance for Harbour management properties. He was a life long Coin collector and enjoyed trips to the casino. He loved antiquing, cooking, he always wanted to feed you, comic book collecting, pocket watch repair ,He loved spending time with his family and always had a project going in his garage. We will carry him in our hearts forever. We are all wiser because of you, and we cherish the time we had together. We will miss you everyday. You are forever Loved PA.

David was predeceased by a granddaughter, Madison Lee Jensen, his mother, Alberta Gentile Ayoub (Walsh), his step fathers, George Ayoub and Salvatore Gentile, and a father-in-law Norman Giles.

He leaves his devote wife of 45 years Donna Ayoub (Giles); his daughters and sons-in-laws,Nicole Rea and Matthew Rea of Hill and Christina Jensen and Michael Jensen of Derry; his grandchildren, Marin Elizabeth Rea and Patrick David Jensen; step grandchildren, Emily Rea and Molly Rea, a step great grand daughter Amelia Rea; five siblings, George Ayoub, Dimitri Ayoub, Pam Gentile, Kelly Gentile, and Sam Gentile all of Massachusetts; sister-in-law Wendy Cook and mother-in-law, Sandra Giles; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
