David (Dave) Joseph Beaudoin, 64, of Goffstown, NH, formerly of Hooksett, NH passed away on the evening of March 16th, 2025 following a brave battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in Manchester, NH, Dave graduated from Manchester West High School in 1979, then went on to New Hampshire College, earning a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Dave married Susan (Roy) Beaudoin on June 18th, 1983 in Manchester at St. John the Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard I. Munsey officiating. High school sweethearts who had been together since they were 14, Dave and Sue adored their sons, Kevin and Adam, and their grandchildren, Caleb and Emersyn. As a family, they loved camping and going on cruises with favorite spots including Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Aruba.
Dave worked as a plastics engineer, most recently at Absolute Haitian in Worchester, MA. Dave’s work provided him with the opportunity to travel the world, leading trainings and implementing technological innovations across North America, Europe and Asia.
His true passion, however, laid in spending time with his family and fishing. Dave held many titles throughout his life, but his most cherished were “Husband,” “Dad” and “Pepere.” Dave’s most reliable happy place was napping in his armchair with his grandchildren. On weekends of recent years, Dave could be found off the coast of Maine on “Our Rose” his treasured 25’ center console ocean boat. Prior to the season starting, Dave and his buddies would wait outside Fish and Game at 4 am to secure coveted clamming permits. Dave’s steamed clams were truly out of this world. A true “tinker-er,” Dave loved projects involving technology – he was particularly interested in drones.
Remaining to cherish Dave’s memory are wife, Sue; children, Kevin and Adam; grandchildren, Caleb and Emersyn; his sister, Julie Boucher; and his father-in-law, Richard Roy.
Preceding Dave in death are parents, David F. Beaudoin, and Jacqueline (Laliberte) Beaudoin; and his mother-in-law, Rose (Chaput) Roy.
A memorial gathering will be held Monday, March 24th from 4-6 at Pheneuf Funeral Home on Hanover Street in Manchester. A private burial service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
