David Robert Bernard, 38, of 317 Amherst Street, Manchester, NH, died April 13, 2002 in Manchester following a difficult struggle with major depression and resulting substance abuse. He was born on October 5, 1963 in Lincoln, ME, the son of Richard J. and Myrna Lewin Bernard. He graduated from Presque Isle High School and Northern Maine Technical College in Computer Electronics. He was employed in the Electronics Industry for the past fifteen years in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is survived by and will be very lovingly remembered by all of his family, including his much adored daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Bernard of Bow, NH, his father and stepmother, Richard J. Lucille Holton Bernard of Port St. Lucie, FL; his mother, Myrna Lewin of Presque Isle, ME, a brother, James R. Bernard of Wentworth, NH; two sisters and Mrs. James (Casey Beth) Avery of Belmont, NH and Andrea Bernard of Washington, DC; one niece and two step-nephews.
