David Jay Dawes Sr., 41, of Auburn died suddenly on October 6, 2005 as a result of a motorcycle accident. David was born on June 22, 1964 in Washington, DC the son of the Mary Anna (Mullen) Paquette and the late Morgan J. Dawes. He grew up in Manchester, moved to Florida and graduated from Seminole High School. He moved to Mississippi in 1983 and began working for Marine Life Oceanarium where he rescued, trained and relocated bottlenose dolphins. David returned to New Hampshire in 1998 with his family. Most of his career was spent in the computer industry and had most recently been employed at Standex in Salem. He enjoyed outdoor activities including canoeing, fishing, and camping. His greatest love, other than his family, was riding his Harley. Family members include; his wife of 20 years, Tina (Summers) Dawes; one son, David J. Dawes Jr.; two daughters, Ashley Dawes and Sarah Dawes; his mother; step father, Paul Paquette; one sister, Michelle Boehm of Suwanee, GA; one step sister, Stephanie Sandy; two step brothers, Steven Dawes and Randal Dawes;three nephews; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. A Memorial Reception will be held Sunday, October 9th from 2:00 until 3:30 PM with a Candlelight Vigil at 3:30 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
