DAVID C. LYNDES
LITTLETON, NH -- David C. Lyndes, 83, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Born in Lisbon, NH on October 5, 1934, he was the son of Richard and Merna Lyndes. David attended Lisbon Schools. He started working delivering milk for a local farm in Landaff. He was then drafted into the United States Army in May of 1957, where he served as a Private First Class in Fort Lee, Virginia.
When David returned home, he started working construction in the summer for several different construction companies. He also started his own snowplowing business and continued both throughout his life until he retired construction in 1997. He continued snowplowing until 2013.
David loved baseball, football, NASCAR, local area track racing, hunting, fishing, country music, going to the beach, and socializing with everyone. He loved to drink Moxie and Root Beer floats, but most of all he loved to spend time with his beloved, precious daughter, Cathy. She was his life.
Surviving family members include his loving and precious daughter, Cathy Bedor, his brothers, Fred and wife Carlene, Ken and wife Carol, Floyd and wife Rose, his sister-in-law Diana Lyndes, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marie, his grandson BJ, his parents Richard and Merna, his brothers Richard and Roscoe Lyndes and sister Bernice Baines.
SERVICES – There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church with Rev. Mark E. Dollard as Celebrant.
