David C. Mariotti

David C. Mariotti, 69, of Auburn, NH, passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2022, after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Westfield, MA on April 29, 1952, he was the son of Carlo Mariotti and Stella Mariotti (Detro).

David was raised in Lancaster, MA where he attended the local elementary school.

He graduated from Nashoba Regional High School in 1970, where he excelled both as the star baseball pitcher and in cross country. David obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bentley College in 1974 and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from New Hampshire College in 1981. David held various positions in finance throughout his career, most recently as VP of Finance and CFO of Insultab in Woburn, MA for the past 15 years.

David had a passion for classic cars, music, and vacationing in York, Maine. He was an avid New England sports fan and loved his family. He was a hard-working, reserved, and loving man who enjoyed time spent at home. David was devoted to his faith and was a long-time parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Auburn, NH. David will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor and contagious laugh.

David is predeceased by his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife, Diane Mariotti of 37 years. He is survived by his sister, Lisa Mariotti of Juneau, AK; his children Adam Spector and his wife Michelle Burtchell of Hopkinton, MA, April Ferendo and her husband Kevin of Auburn, NH, and Evan Mariotti and his wife Shannon of Holliston, MA.  He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Jack Spector, Sofia Ferendo, Carolyn Mariotti, and Christopher Mariotti.

David’s visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 5-7 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Private burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
