David Otis Roux, 77, passed away after a brief illness at Bowman Place in Bedford surrounded by family on February 22, 2025. He was born January 15, 1948.
He attended Memorial High School in NH and then served in the Navy, active service from 1965-1969, serving in the Vietnam War. He then remained active at the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH for more than 30 years until his retirement.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Lynn, in which they were married for 43 years.
His enjoyments in life were, collecting coins & stamps, in which he was doing his whole life. He loved animals, hunting & fishing, umpiring little league and being a Mason and a part of other charitable organizations.
David is survived by his son Adam and his wife Carrie, son Andrew, grandchildren Kyle & wife, Tyler & new great-granddaughter. His brother Paul & wife Diane, sister Virginia, several cousins, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Steven & Joseph.
Services will be held on Friday, February 28th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Memorial Gathering will take place from 4PM-7PM with a Memorial Service at 7PM.
Burial will take place at a later date at Blair Cemetery in Campton, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s name to the Animal Rescue League of NH https://www.rescueleague.org/
