Dawn E. Dionne Maine

Dawn Elizabeth Dionne Maine, longtime Manchester resident passed away on December 3, 2025 after a long battle with cancer.

Dawn was born December 3, 1946 in Manchester, NH to the late Ivan P. Maine and Edith (Owen) Maine.

Dawn was a member of one of the first graduating classes of Memorial High School. Dawn enjoyed spending time at the beach with an annual long weekend spent at the Windjammer in Hampton with her sister and niece, shopping, reading and eating chowder from Peaty’s Seafood.

Christmas was a favorite holiday, her holiday music collection was played all year, shopping was her passion for herself and for many, she had HSN/QVC on speed dial.

Dawn enjoyed 14 years with her husband, Ronnie, her sister, Dale and brother in law, Russ at Danforth Bay Resort on Ossipee Lake, Freedom, NH. Dawn began rug hooking alongside her sister and together they were demonstrators at the Deerfield Fair for many years.

Reading was her favorite pastime and her library of books was enormous.

Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Dionne of 33 years, her only sister, Dale W. Phillips, sister in law, Yvette Bergeron, her nieces whom she treated like her own children, Shelby Glander and Jennifer Shafer, great nephews, Matthew Goupil, Christopher Goupil, Alex Phillips, great nieces, Jamie Martineau, Shawna Phillips, who will remember to always eat dessert first.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Shannon Dionne, her brother in law, Russell Phillips and nephew, Bruce M Phillips

SERVICES: Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
