Deborah Brooks

Deborah Brooks was born on June 19, 1959 in Manchester, the daughter of the late Egid and Esther (Furman) Rouleau. She was raised in Manchester and attended local schools including Central High School. She worked as a sales associate at several local businesses. Deborah enjoyed gardening and listening to the oldies. She also loved the mountains and ocean and camping with her family in Maine. Debbie was a member of AA who found support through her fellow members. Family members include; her daughter, Stephanie Brooks of Concord; her former husband, George P. Brooks Jr. of Concord; five brothers, James Furman of Charlestown, NH, Leonard Furman of Ashville, NC, Robert Furman of Manchester, Ralph Furman of Manchester and Clifford Furman of New Jersey; five sisters, Lillian Phillips of New Jersey, Barbara Drew of New Jersey, Dottie Asprocalas of Florida, Betty Furman of Manchester and Ruth Soucy of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Donald. There will be a Memorial Reception on Monday, April 18th from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with a Candlelight Service at 2:00 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Stephanie Brooks Educational Fund, c/o St. Mary’s Bank, 200 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102.
