Deborah L. DuPont, 46, of Chichester, died Saturday, May 11th following a courageous 3-year battle against lung cancer.
Deb was born in Concord April 24, 1967, the daughter of Dennis and Susan (Anstey) O'Connell. She was raised in Epsom, educated in local schools and graduated from New Hampshire College with an associate's degree in Paralegal Studies. Following college Deb married John DuPont in 1990, began her family and moved to Chichester in 2004.
Deb's generous spirit and faith in God was apparent in how she spent her life ministering to others. She flourished when able to open her home to family and friends, hosting parties and entertaining as often as possible. Deb often spent her spare time gardening and collecting items to feed her passion for interior decorating. She was deeply family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones at the beach or at home. She also loved planning family vacations, as long as they didn't include camping.
In addition to her parents, Deb is survived by her husband of 23 years, John A. DuPont; her son, Nathaniel John DuPont; her daughter, Devan Rae DuPont; brothers, Dennis O'Connell of CA and Derek O'Connell and wife, Christine, of Epsom; sister, Deann Planchet and husband, Richard, of Loudon; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive visitors Friday, May 17th 2-4:00pm and 6-8:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester. Complimentary valet service will be available in the evening. An additional hour of gathering will take place Saturday, May 18th 9-10:00am, followed immediately by a memorial service in the funeral home.
