Demetrios G. ''Jim'' Perdikis, 65, died May 1, 2002 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester on November 13, 1936, the son of George and Despina (Mokas) Perdikis and had lived in Manchester for many years prior to moving to Bedford 30 years ago. He was a Central High School graduate, attended Lowell Technical Institute and graduated from New England College. He was a science teacher for 16 years at Merrimack Jr High School and was a basketball and baseball coach for the school. For the past 27 years, he had worked for Anheuser Busch. Inc. as a lab supervisor. Family members include his wife of 34 years, Pauline (Ouellette) Perdikis a son, Jason G. Perdikis of Manchester; a daughter, Beth A. Thompson of Manchester; one granddaughter, Rhiannon Thompson of Manchester; several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Noon in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
