Denis R. Willson, 67, of Derry, NH, died June 7, 2007, at Parkland Medical, Derry, NH. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 6, 1940, and was the son of the late Harold C. and Jane L. (Enos) Willson and had been a resident of Derry for 36 years. Denis graduated from Rome Free Academy, Rome, New York, in 1958 and attended Utica College of Syracuse University. He served four years in the US Air Force, stationed at Keesler Air Base, Biloxi, Mississippi. Mr. Willson was employed for 35 years at Raytheon Company in Lexington, Massachusetts and served on the Derry Budget Committee. He traveled around the world several times. Family members include his wife of 42 years; Wilma (Reynolds) Willson, three sons; Craig R. Willson, Cevin R. Willson, all of Derry, and Curt A. Willson of Pittsfield, NH, a daughter, Claudia Cass of Laconia, six grandchildren. IN HIS LIFE: Denis loved his family, cooking everyone breakfast, boating and gardening. His son-in-law, George Ellis of Laconia and daughter-in-law; Suzan Travers of Derry. SERVICES: Relatives and friends may call at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, Sunday evening from 6 to 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10:30 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry, NH.
