OBITUARY NOTICE
DENISE L. DUCLOS
BEDFORD, NH â Denise L. (Cardin) Duclos, 84, died on Friday, December 31, at her residence in Bedford.
Mrs. Duclos was born in Nashua, NH, on December 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Hector and Rose (Perrault) Cardin. She was a resident of Manchester for 47 years, and most recently of Bedford since 2004.
She graduated from Nashua High School with the class of 1945, and was employed by the New England Telephone Company for 5 years, when she moved to Manchester to raise her family. She married Dr. Armand A. Duclos, also of Nashua.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish after moving to Bedford. Prior to that, she was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Manchester and belonged to the Womenâs Guild.
Members of her family include; her husband of more than 50 years, Dr. Armand A. Duclos, of Bedford; four daughters, Laure Murray and her husband, Charles of Mechanicville, NY; Susan Bowler and her husband Edward of Boxborough, MA; Mary Margaret Fisher of Midlothian, VA; Lise Malone and her husband Michael, of Bridgewater, MA; one son, Paul Duclos and his wife Heather, of Canoga Park, CA; six granddaughters, Lynn and Kristen Murray, Kelsey and Rachel Fisher, Kathryn Bowler, and Michelle Duclos, six grandsons, Michael Bowler, Brian Bowler, Nathan Duclos and his wife Laura, Matthew Duclos, Luke Malone and Jack Malone, one great grandson, Jacob Duclos; one brother Richard Cardin and his wife Elaine; sister-in-law, June Cardin; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Duclos was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Black, brother Paul Cardin, and one granddaughter, Hannah Rose Malone.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 3, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, in Bedford, NH. Interment will take place at a later time at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen.
