Denise Irene Wholey

Denise Irene Wholey, 70, of Weare, NH (and formerly of Manchester and Goffstown), passed away on April 10, 2023, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She was born on October 24, 1952, daughter of the late Paul and Claire (Martin) Sanfason.

Denise was a devoted wife who shared nearly 47 years of marriage with her husband, Thomas Wholey. She was raised in Manchester and graduated from Central High School in 1970. Denise worked at TBI Corp for 35 years and after retirement, she enjoyed working part-time at Blackbird Market in Weare.

Denise had a passion for animals and loved birdwatching, feeding birds and squirrels, and caring for her pets, including her cat Bosco and dogs Rosie and Daisy. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family, especially family dinners, holidays, and going boating together.

Denise is survived by her husband, Thomas Wholey, her daughter Kristen Grenier and her husband Bruno, her grandchildren Nicole and Kyle Grenier, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Claire Sanfason, and her brothers, Dennis Sanfason and his wife Denise and James Sanfason.

Denise will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her love for animals, and her unwavering devotion to her family.
