Dennis J. Dobens

Dennis J. Dobens, 49, of 129 Oakdale Avenue, Manchester, died September 4, 2007 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Nashua on April 26, 1958, the son of George and Eglantine (Denis) Dobens and had lived most of his life in Nashua before moving to Manchester ten years ago. He had been a self-employed pool builder and was also a self-taught craftsman. He enjoyed vacationing in Colebrook where he loved to fish with his family. Dennis was always willing to help people and was a loving husband and father. Family members include his wife of 15 years, Denise (Rideout) Dobens; his father of Nashua; his son, Jared Dobens of Manchester; two brothers, George Dobens of AZ and Edward Dobens of Nashua; four sisters, Marlene Musgrove of Mont Vernon, Jeanne Contreras of CO, Christine Dobens of Merrimack and Kathleen Thibault of NY; and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place on Friday from 10 – 11 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester.
