Dennis A. Gelinas, 57, of Manchester, passed away at his residence on October 27, 2011, suddenly and unexpectedly.
He was born in Manchester on June 9, 1954, the son of Robert E. and Violet (Gagne) Gelinas and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was employed by Merchant Motors. Prior to that he had worked for Cotter & Co / Truserv. He had also worked at the Elms Resort. He loved to travel and spend time with "all the girls in his life". He will be remembered as the neighborhood handyman. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, David Gelinas earlier this year.
Family members include his loving wife and soul mate of 23 years, Louise (Lindenberger) Gelinas; his mother of Manchester; two daughters, Jill McNally and her husband John of Windham, and Leslie Lazio and her husband James of Farmington, a brother, Daniel Gelinas of Northfield; a sister Donna Lepage of Goffstown; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., on Wednesday from 11 AM to Noon with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at Noon.
