DENNIS F. PARKER
LITTLETON, NH ----- Dennis F. Parker, 57, of Littleton passed away Tuesday, June 17th in his home with his family, after a long battle with cancer.
Dennis was born in Littleton, NH on May 4, 1946, a son of Fred and Pearl (Peterson) Parker.
He was most affectionately known as the Frosty Man that drove the sharp classic old car. He married his wife of 39 years on June 21, 1964. Dennis was a local businessman having operated Freds Linoleum Shop, before purchasing the Frosty Whip Dairy Bar. He operated the dairy bar for over 15 years, which continues to be operated by his daughter, Lorisa, today. He was an avid outdoorsman and was well known in the community for his humorous jokes he shared with many.
Surviving family consists of his wife, Laura Lee (Varney) Parker of Littleton; one son, Shane Parker and Jen of Dalton, NH; three daughters, Michelle Rodas and Ernesto of Belchertown, MA, Lorisa Parker and Gary Guyer of Littleton, NH, Misty Parker of Littleton, NH; one sister, Stella Lapanne of Portsmouth, NH; and 10 grandchildren, Cara Ann Parker, Keith Victor Parker, Katelynn Ann Wright, Jeremy Earl Coffin, Andrew Wayne Wright Jr., Papcelie Mabel Rodas, Jasmin Priscilla Rodas, Freddie Alexander Vasquez, George Shane Parker, Patiance Saralee Robinson, and special companions Jack and Nemo. One brother, Donald Parker and one sister, Sally Greer, predeceased him.
SERVICES: At the request of the family there will be no calling hours and the memorial service be considered casual attire. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton, with the Rev. Lyn O. McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.
