HOOKSETT, NH – Dennis P. Sanfason, 60, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011, at his residence following a long illness.

Mr. Sanfason was born on October 1, 1950, in Manchester, NH, the son of Paul A. and Claire T. (Fiola) Sanfason. He was a resident of Hooksett since 1991, and prior to this he lived in Goffstown.

Mr. Sanfason attended Central High School, and graduated with the class of 1969.

He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Sanfason was employed as a heavy duty parts manager at Fleet Pride, in Londonderry, where he worked from July 1991 to present. Prior to this he was employed by Brake & Electric Company where he worked as a parts manager for 19 years.

Mr. Sanfason enjoyed boating, Nascar and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Members of his family in addition to his mother, include; his wife of 38 years, Denise E. (Boulanger) Sanfason, of Hooksett; one son, Doug P. Sanfason, of Hooksett; one daughter, Donna D. Sanfason, of Hooksett; 1 grandchild, a brother, James Sanfason, of Hooksett; one sister, Denise Wholey, of Goffstown; several nieces and nephews.

IN HIS LIFE: In addition, other family members include his five beloved dogs.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 26, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A prayer service followed by military honors will be held in the funeral home at 7:00 PM.
