Diana E. Deni

Diana E. Deni, 98 passed away Friday April 20, 2012 in Winchester NH. She was born in Holyoke, MA on December 24, 1913 the daughter of Frederick and Delina (Gaumont) LaFerrier. Diana was married to Michael Deni "the Popcorn Man" in 1934 and together with him she co- owned and operated an ice cream business,
" Leslies Store" in Orange , MA She also had worked in sales at Fair Store in Holyoke, MA and the Cinderella Kiddie shop in Springfield, MA. She moved to Hinsdale in 1976. Diana lived her life with faith, hope and gentleness. She was a devout Catholic and member of the Catholic Daughters. Her hobbies included embroidery, crochet, and piano.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1986 and is survived by many close friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10; 00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 80 Richmond St. Winchester, NH. Graveside committal services and interment will follow at 1:00 PM in St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery, Holyoke, MA.
