Diane Rita Blanchard

Diane Rita (Ladouceur) Blanchard, 73, of Nashua died February 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family after fighting a courageous battle with Cancer.

She was born on July 1, 1939 Manchester the daughter of George and Angeline (Gaudette) Ladouceur. She was raised and educated in Manchester, graduating from St. George's High School. Diane was a resident of Nashua for the past 54 years.

She worked as a cashier at Market Basket in Nashua for 16 years. Diane loved working there and was loved by her customers.

She loved reading at the beach, going to the movies and taking scenic rides.

Diane was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Nashua.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Donna Whalen of Litchfield; son, Dennis Blanchard of Nashua; 3 grandchildren, Damien Blanchard of Kingston, PA, Ryan Whalen of Litchfield and Shane Whalen and wife Suzie of Manchester; brother, Louis Ladouceur and wife Denise of Summersfield, FL; 2 sisters, Elise Perras and husband Robert of Bedford and Anna-Marie Andersen and husband Robert of Hooksett; step brother, Raymond Melanson of Manchester; step sister, Dianne Pratt of Somersworth, NH and her many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Ladouceur and Norman Ladouceur both of Manchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will held at St. Patrick's Church, Spring St, Nashua on Thursday at 9:30 AM friends and family are welcome. Burial will be at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Diane's memory can be made to Home, Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
