Dolores M. (Loiselle) Hermsdorf, 56, of 1465 Hooksett Rd., passed away January 31, 2002 at Brigham and Women's Hospital following complications from a long battle with a rare blood cancer. She was born in Manchester on May 19, 1945, the daughter of Harvey E. and Stella (Kapela) Loiselle and had lived all of her life in the city prior to moving to Hooksett three years ago. Prior to her illness, she was the tennis administrator for the Executive Health and Sports Club, where she had worked for over two years. Prior to that, she owned and operated The Card Shoppe. Earlier in her career, she had also worked for New Hampshire Insurance. She was the past president of the South Jr Deb Softball League. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Women's Sorority and a parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral. She was a member of the United States Tennis Association and had a passion for tennis. She was also an initial member of the Annalee Doll Society and was an avid collector. She was active in youth sports with her children and was a ''hockey Mom''. She was a devoted wife and mother. Family members include her husband of 34 years, Gary Hermsdorf; a daughter, Karen Elwell of Manchester by the Sea, MA; a son, Stephen Hermsdorf of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Annette Paquette, Christine Vallee and Francine LeBlanc all of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces, an uncle,two aunts and many cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cathedral. Inurnment will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery mausoleum. Following the service, a lunchon will be held at Fratellos restaurant, 155 Dow Street, Manchester, NH (641-6776).
