Domenica "Minnie" Rea, 93, died February 9, 2010 at Concord Hospital in Concord. She was born on June 6, 1916 in the Province of Teramo, Italy, the daughter of Antonio and Rosa Dicastantino Ventrella. The family immigrated to America on 1923 and settled in Livermore Falls, Maine. She attended St. Rose of Lima School and has been a resident of Manchester, NH since 1955. Mrs. Rea was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Manchester. She had been employed as a cake decorator with Freed's Bakery for over 35 years. In Her Life: She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Cotter of Hingham, Mass and Janice and her husband Richard Younginger of Bow, NH and her son Ronald Rea of Manchester; two sisters, Ann Sullivan of Bridgewater, Mass and Vera Bernard of Latham, NY; three grandchildren, Shelley and her husband Patrick Murphy, Courtney and Derek Younginger; one great grandchild, Lily Murphy and nieces and nephews. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, Elm St, Manchester, on Monday at 11:00AM. You are invited to gather with the family at the church from10:00 to 10:50AM. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls, Maine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Domenica's name can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, #110, Bedford, NH 03110.
