Donald M. Cote

Donald M. Cote, 61, of 7 Trent Road, Hooksett, died September 10, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on August 4, 1940, the son of Edouard and Marie (Lemay) Cote and had resided in Hooksett for the past three years. Prior to that, he resided in Gilmanton Iron Works. He also wintered in Indian Shores, Florida. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He had worked for many years for the Treasury Department of the United States Government. He loved working with wood. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family members include his wife of 38 years, Claire (LeBlanc) Cote; a son, David Cote of New York City; a daughter, Mrs. David (Diane) Palmer of Concord; two grandchildren; a sister, Sr. Jeannine Cote, RJM, of the Villa Augustina in Goffstown; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Jean the Baptist Church. Urn burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Villa Augustina School, 208 South Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 30045.
