Donald Leon Jacques

Donald Leon Jacques, 75, of 107 S. Jewitt Street, Manchester, NH died June 16, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1926, in Sanford, Maine, the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Gallant) Jacques and had been residing in Manchester, NH. He was a W.W. II Navy Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict with 20 years of service with the Navy. Donald volunteered for the caregivers and for St. Anthony. Mr. Jacques was an Office Manager for Parker-Danner Company for over 20 years, retiring in 1988. Family member include his wife of 42 yerars, Irene (Binette) Jacques of Manchester, three sons, Damien Jacques, Dominique Jacques, both of Manchester and Denis Jacques of Connecticut, five daughters, Christine Leary, Anne Jacques, Louise Jacques, all of Manchester, Susanne Swanson of Meredith and Kathleen Paquin of Manchester, 11 grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins. SERV ICES: Relatives and friends may gather at a family gathering at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10 o'clock in St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
