Donald R. Kenney

Donald R. Kenney, 80, of Hooksett, NH died unexpectedly June 2, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on June 30, 1928 Concord, NH the son of the late JoeFrank and Irene (Small) Kenney. He was raised and educated in Loudon until he moved to Manchester at the age of 12. He was a resident of the area for most of his life. Mr. Kenney worked as a vendor for W. F. Schonland and Sons for 25 years before retiring. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Kenney was enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lorraine (Demers) Kenney of Hooksett; 3 sons, Roy Salyards of Goffstown, Robert Salyards of Manchester and David Kenney of Hooksett; 1 daughter, Donna Pelissier of Hooksett, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Gary Kenney who died in 2008. His Committal Service will be held on Friday at 11:00AM in the Chapel at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
