Donald McMahon of Manchester, NH died May 28, 2010 at home surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. He was born on November 26, 1930. A native of Brooklyn, NY born to Bernard McMahon and Mary Connolly, he lived in Manchester the past 30 years. He was an employee of the Currier Gallery of Art for 20 years. He loved art, music, history, politics and animals. He volunteered for many organizations including the Manchester Historical Society and the Opera Society. He is survived by many, many family and friends, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His Gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH on Thursday from 2-4PM, with his service at 3:30PM in the funeral home. Donations can be made to either Seniors Count of Easter Seals NH or the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire.
