Donald L. Parents, 67, of Manchester, NH died on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Catholic

Medical Center, in Manchester, NH.

Mr. Parents was born on May 27, 1955, in Manchester, NH the son of Walter and Dorothy (Johnson) Parents. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

He was a veteran and served in the United States Navy.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Parents worked for many years at the Union Leader Corporation.

He enjoyed fishing, playing in a cribbage league, playing darts, watching his granddaughter figure skate, and he was actively involved with the Jutras Post.

Members of his family include; a daughter, Sara Parents, of Manchester, NH; a son, Brian Parents of Garner, NC; three grandchildren Madison and Carter Parents and Aspen Parents, three brothers, Roger Parents, of Manchester, NH;

Bruce Parents, of CA; Albert Parents, of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Donna Knox and Jackie Jobin both of Manchester, NH and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester. Interment will take place at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, NH on Friday June 24, 2022, at 1:30PM as well as a celebration of life after the interment on the same day of June 24, 2022 being held at the Jutras Post 43 at 56 Boutwell Street in Manchester.

It has been suggested that donations can be made to the Jutras Post in memory of Mr. Parents.
