Donald H. Peabody

Donald H. Peabody, 67, of Concord, NH passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

He was born on August 11, 1957, in Grasmere, NH, the son of the late Herbert and Lorraine (Palmer) Peabody.

Prior to his retirement, Donald worked for the State of NH, where he held the position of Program Assistant.

Donald enjoyed going on many cruises with his wife, Rita. He enjoyed fishing. He was a big New England Patriots fan. Most of all he loved spending all his time with his wife, Rita who was the love of his life.

Donald is survived by his wife, of 37 years Rita L. (Charron) Peabody of Concord, NH; his son, Lee Peabody of Manchester, NH; his sisters, Irene (Edwin) Hibbard of Grand Junction, CO and Sharon Bernatchy of Lebanon, NH a brother, Roland (Tina) Peabody of Manchester, NH. As well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Herbert Peabody Jr.

Donald’s extended family whom he dearly loved: Wayne, Jessica and Nicole Charron, sister and brother-in-law Rolande and Jack James, Lucien and Deborah Charron.

Donald expressed strong faith in the Bible’s promise of when he will see all his loved ones on a paradise earth. John 5:28,29 

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 28, from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.

Donations can be made to Amedisys Hospice care in memory of Mr. Donald Peabody.
