Donald W. Richard, 67, of Manchester died suddenly on October 1, 2005 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. Mr. Richard was born on January 1, 1938 in Manchester the son of the late Louis P. and Evelyn (Bellerose) Richard. He spent his career working as a truck driver, furnace repairman and custodian for the Bedford School System where he spent 10 joyful years. Richards hobbies and interests included playing video games, bowling as well as watching the sport on television, and swimming. He and his wife, Jeanne, loved to travel by car and plane. They particularly enjoyed spending time in Virginia and Florida where they frequently visited Disneyworld. In their earlier years, the couple used to square dance and are Charter Members of the Queen City Promenaders. Donald was also a past treasurer of the club. He was a cherished husband and father who adored his grandchildren. Family members include; his wife of 40 years, Jeanne M. (Trottier) Richard; one daughter, Darlene M. Chandonnet of Manchester; one son, Bruce D. Richard of Weare; three grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Richard of Bow and Roland Richard of Alexandria; one sister; Sandy Andreoli of VA; and several nieces and nephews. IN HIS LIFE: Richard had three grandchildren, Brian D. Chandonnet, Bruce D. Richard, Jr., and Theresa M. Richard. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 13th at 6:30 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 14 Mammoth Road in Hooksett. Burial will be private and in St. Augustin Cemetery.
