DONALD R. STEFFEN MANCHESTER, NH – Donald Reginald Steffen, 53, died suddenly at his home in Manchester on Friday, August 6, 2010. Donald was born in Berlin, NH on December 1, 1956, the son of Theresa (Francoeur) Steffen, and the late Robert P. Steffen. Donald relocated to Manchester, where he spent the majority of his life. Hardworking and dedicated to his work, Don spent over 30 years in various capacities at Velcro USA, in the final years of service he was a group leader in the Distribution Center. Members of his family include; his wife Ruth Ann Steffen, five children, Deanne, Ryan, Ashley, Miles, Kelsey, one brother, Leo Steffen, several nieces, nephews and cousins. IN HIS LIFE: Don was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and son, and is remembered for always putting his family first and going above and beyond the call of duty for his friends and colleagues. Don was a talented and accomplished artist with a passion for music. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 11th from 4 – 9 PM, at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, in Bedford.
