Donald Gerald Turgeon Sr, born on January 5, 1951 to Theresa (Bedard) and Louis Turgeon, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026 surrounded by his friends and family at his Manchester home after a long and hard-fought battle with dementia.

After high school, Donald enlisted and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Once his service was completed, Donald focused on mechanic work, and spent most of his career as a heavy diesel mechanic for Hertz Penske, but later do mechanic work for Velcro, where he would eventually retire.

When Donald wasn't working, he loved to spend his free time in the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and could often be found tending to his garden and maintaining his yard by riding around on his tractor.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Theresa and Louis, and his brother; Andy Turgeon of Weare, NH.

He is survived by his wife; Sandra Turgeon of Manchester, NH, his two sisters; Charlene Robinson of Bedford, NH and Louise Intorre of NC, his daughter; Cheryl Turgeon, his twin sons; Donald of Epping, NH and Dalton of Chester, NH, his five grandchildren; Christopher, Brittany, Megan, Brooklyn, and Beau, along with 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 9:00am, graveside at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
