Donna Anthony

Donna Anthony, 65, of Manchester, passed away on December 10, 2021, at Catholic Medical.

She was born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Kukla) Anthony. She was a United States Army Veteran and taught biological and chemical warfare. She was a graduate of Rivier College and had worked for Catholic Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital. She was an avid Golfer, Dart Player, Life Member of DAV, Life Member of the Alpine Club, loved having barbecues with family and friends, enjoyed traveling and loved the family pet Bella.

Family members include her spouse of 32 years, Sandy (MacFadden) Gunski; a stepdaughter, Heidi Sliwerski of Bedford; two step-sons, Michael Gunski of FL and Gregory Gunski of Manchester; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Karen Merrill and her husband Chris of Northwood; three nephews, Todd Anthony, Willie Merrill, and Michael Merrill. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Kimberly Anthony.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday December 17th from 10 AM to Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. Manchester with a memorial service to follow at Noon in the funeral home chapel. Urn burial with military honors will take place on Friday at 2:00 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
