DONNA MARIE BROWN Donna Marie (Barry) Brown, 46, of Penacook, NH, died Friday, February 15, at the Hospice House in Concord, after a brief illness. Born on November 29, 1961, in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of Donald and the late Rita (Joyal) Barry. She was a resident of Penacook, for the past 3 ½ years. Prior to this, she resided in Woburn, MA. She attended Dracut schools and graduated from Dracut High School in 1980. Donna then attended Tewksbury Hospital School of Nursing and spent most of her working life caring for the elderly in a Chelmsford Nursing Home. She moved to NH in 2004 and worked at Carey's Market in Boscawen for two years. Members of her family, in addition to her father, include; 2 sons, Peter Allan Ward, of Hanson, MA; Joshua Brown, of Lowell, MA; 2 daughters, Melissa Ward, of Hanson, MA; Anne-Marie Brown, of Penacook, NH; 1 brother, Donald Richard Barry, Jr., of Sarasota, FL; 1 sister, Cheryl Jacobson, of Penacook, NH and a stepmother Joan A Barry of Revere, Mass.. IN HER LIFE: Other family members include; her granddaughter, Vanessa Ward. Always known for her cheery voice and helpful ways, Donna will be missed by all who knew her. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 6 – 9 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11 AM, at The Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace Street, in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell, MA. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, or to The Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, 240 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301, in memory of Donna.
