DORA C. GADBOIS
LITTLETON, NH Dora C. Gadbois of Littleton passed away on Monday, May 4th at the Lafayette Center in Franconia.
Dora was born on January 23, 1915, a daughter to Arthur and Rose (Dionne) Plant in Laconia, NH.
Dora was a former owner and co-operator, along with her husband, Fred Gadbois, of the Gadbois Bakery of Littleton for many years until her retirement in 1979. She was a Communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a founding member of the Littleton Emblem Club of 39+ years, as well as a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary.
Dora is survived by six nieces, Patricia Bilodeau, Priscilla Dillingham, Debra Pryor, Susan Ball, Betsy Rollins, and Barbara Gagnon; four nephews, George and Donald Gadbois, Murray and Albert Plante,; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Plante of Madison, Ohio. Her husband, Frederick Gadbois predeceased her in 1983.
SERVICES A calling hour will be held on Thursday evening, May 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Marcel Martel as Celebrant. Burial will be held in the St. Rose Cemetery.
