Dorbor Nyonee

Dorbor Nyonee, 96, of Manchester, NH died March 27, 2008 at her home in Manchester. She was born on January 1, 1912 in Ziah Town, Grand Gedeh County, Liberia the daughter of the late Gui Grear and Solo Tinne. She worked as a farmer in Liberia. Dorbor came to the US in 2004 as a refugee. She was very thankful to the US government, NH government, City of Manchester and all who made her life here in the US possible. She is survived by her children, Sarah Quaye of Manchester, James W. Nyonee of Manchester, Amos T. Nyonee of Monrovia, Liberia and Cecelia Nyonee of Guinea, 47 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Nyonee and 9 of her children. Her Services will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Saturday April 12th from 8:45 to 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
