Dorene E. Adams

Dorene E. Adams, 81, of 700 Hanover Street, died June 29, 2003, at Hanover Hill Health Care. She was born March 10, 1922, in Patimoe Manor, West Virginia and had been a resident of Manchester for the past 37 years. She was the widow of George Adams who died in 1991. She was a W.W. II Navy Veteran. Dorene was employed with Felton Brush and was a member of the American Legion Jutras Post and the VFW on Kelley Street. Family members include two sons; Peter Adams of Pinnacle, North Carolina and Kenneth Adams of Orange City, Florida, two daughters; Joan Carreau of Center Barnstead and Linda Picard of Manchester, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great great grandhild, one brother and two sisters all residing in Ohio, many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
