Doris (DeSchuytner) Dion

Doris (DeSchuytner) Dion, 87, died July 8, 2017 at her home in Center Barnstead, NH, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.She was born May 8, 1930 in Chelsea MA, the daughter of Victor DeSchuytner and Catherine (Fitzpatrick) DeSchuytner.She was a graduate of Chelsea High School and was a tireless, dedicated worker at MGH in Boston in the pediatrics department for 40 years before retiring to NH. She was the mother of the late Donald Dion and is survived by her husband, Norman Dion, and her five loving children: Daniel Dion of Chelmsford MA, Michael Dion of Groton, NH, Cecile Falta of Center Barnstead, Andrea Toolan of Wakefield, MA and Paul Dion of Newton, MA. She also leaves four beloved grandchidren: Melissa Derderian of Chicopee, MA, Sara Dion of Somerville, MA and Jake and Alexis Toolan of Wakefield, MA. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Gutowski, of Washington and also leaves many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10 to11 AM on Thursday July 13, 2017 at Phaneuf Funeral Home in Boscawen, NH with a memorial service at 11 AM in their chapel followed by interment at NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Friends and family are invited to attend.
