Doris Alice Ellison

Doris Alice Ellison, 74, of Manchester, NH, passed away at her home on November 14, 2019 after a long period of declining health. Born in Manchester on January 4, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Fregeau) LeBlanc.

A lifelong Manchester resident, Doris graduated from Manchester Memorial High School, Class of 1963. She went on to work for Klebro Shoes, Montgomery Wards, and Herrington's. Doris loved Elvis and enjoyed traveling. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.

Doris leaves behind her daughters, Lisa and Sharon Ellison; her grandchildren, Felicia Ellison, Mikayla Lefavor and her husband Jordan, and Nicholas Ellison, as well as her great-granddaughter, Abbygail Lefavor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Edward Ellison, and her brother, Robert LeBlanc.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 19th from 4-8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20th at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 9 St. Francis Way, Litchfield. She will be laid to rest at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
