Doris M. Gagnon

Doris M. Gagnon, 93, a lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2022 at Hanover Hill Nursing Home after a long period of declining health.

Doris was born November 9, 1928 to the late Aimee and Yvonne Hebert. She attended Saint Anthony’s School and joined the workforce as a local businesswoman and later worked in various retail capacities until the age of 83.

In her youth, she enjoyed dancing and skating, but her true passion in later years was on the golf course. Doris was a generous, loving, and thoughtful Memere who cherished time with her loved ones.

Family members left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark Santos and his wife Cindy of Madison, and Michael Santos of Manchester; grandchildren, Jessica Younghouse and Joshua Santos; and three great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband Anthony J. Santos, second husband Donald L. Gagnon, and siblings; Roger Hebert, Rita Taillon, Lorraine Helie, Connie Pinard, and Estelle Moses.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 22^nd from 4-8pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday July 23^rd at 10:00am in the funeral home. Interment in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
