Doris George

Doris (Larochelle) George, 81, of Thornton, died peacefully on November 13, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones and in the comfort of her own home.
Doris was born September 20, 1933, in Manchester NH, the daughter of the late Alfred and Florence (Rousseau) Larochelle. She spent her entire lifetime in NH, residing in Hooksett, Claremont, Wentworth, Hill, and for the past 19 years in Thornton.
Besides being surrounded by the ones she loved, Doris enjoyed, quilting, knitting, dancing, playing the piano and visiting the ocean. Doris approached life with enthusiasm and passion and despite her long, courageous battle with cancer, she always insisted on living life to its fullest. Her positive energy, strength and determination was an inspiration to all those around her.
Her spirit is carried on by her loving husband, Harry George Jr.; her four children, Gerald Fox of Dallas, OR, Leslie Fox of Thornton, NH, Harry George III of San Diego, CA, Jeffrey George of Los Angeles, CA; her 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Uhlman of North Conway, NH, Anisa Fox of Czech Republic. Samin Fox of Israel, Nava Fox of McMinnville, OR and an extended family of family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend her "Celebration of her Life" Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:30pm at The Common Man, 231 Main Street, Plymouth, NH.
