Doris T. (Bournival) Gonthier, 75, of 1370 Front Street, died June 25, 2006 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester on August 16, 1930, the daughter of Leo and Emelia (Dequindre) Bournival and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated from Hesser College. She retired from St. Anselm College, where she had worked in the food services department. She had been a den mother for Cub Scout Troop 135 and was also a volunteer grandmother for Gossler School. She enjoyed painting and doing crafts. She was the widow of Albert Gonthier who died in 1990. Family members include a son, Lee Gonthier of Bedford; seven daughters, Muriel Brown of Laconia, Denise Lapoint of NH, Mrs. Arthur (Diane) Josephson of Goffstown, Mrs. David (Aline) Proulx of Bedford, Mrs. Robert (Suzanne) Brule of Goffstown, Mrs. Maurice (Lisa) St. Onge of Goffstown and Mrs. Philip (Linda) Therrien of Goffstown; 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one uncle and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Church of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
