Doris C. Phaneuf

Doris C. Phaneuf, 83, of Manchester, NH died on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH.
Mrs. Phaneuf was born on October 28, 1938, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Gelinas) Cassidy. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH.
She devoted her life with selfless acts of love for her children, and husband, leaving her position as town clerk with the City of Manchester, when her first child was born.
She enjoyed playing cards with her family, love attending beach concerts, eating baked stuffed shrimp, listening to country music and watching dancing with the stars.
Members of her family include; four sons, Donald Phaneuf of Manchester, NH; Normand Phaneuf of Boston, MA; Robert Phaneuf also of Boston, MA; Richard Phaneuf of Bedford, NH; one daughter, Michelle Bourassa, of Stoddard, NH; two grandchildren, Heather Bourassa, and Adam Phaneuf, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Phaneuf was predeceased by her husband, Eugene Phaneuf who died in November 2005.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12, 11:00AM at St. Hedwig Church, 147 Walnut Street, Manchester. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
Donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Phaneuf.
