Doris P. (Lafond) Prudhomme

Doris P. (Lafond) Prudhomme, 92, of Manchester, passed away on December 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She is the wife of the late Robert Prudhomme with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Doris was born in Boston to Arthur and Jeanne (Trottier) Lafond.

Doris was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved to bake and always had a snack or a whole cake to be eaten in the kitchen. She was an avid card player and enjoyed tennis, skiing, and vacationing at her cottage at Lake Ossipee.

Doris is survived by her children; Steven Prudhomme and his wife Janice Carbonneau of Atkinson, Donald Prudhomme and his wife Patricia of Alton Bay, Cheryl Prudhomme and her husband Michael Gallivan of NY, Robert Prudhomme and his wife Nicorina of Hooksett, and Daniel Prudhomme and his wife Maricela of CA, her 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and 8 siblings; Gerard Lafond, Laurette Quagliere, Germaine Lafond, Marcel Lafond, Lydia Lafond, Frances Corkery, Bernard Lafond, and Albert Lafond.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 21st from 1-2pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Memorial Service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
