Doris B. (Blixt) Rzeznikiewicz, 82, of 131 Plymouth Street, died February 4, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on September 29, 1922, the daughter of John and Lydia (LaCombe) Blixt and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had worked for over 20 years for Amoskeag Bank until her retirement. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and was a past member of St. Annes Sodality. Doris enjoyed her monthly gatherings she had with her former high school classmates. She also volunteered at Maple Leaf Nursing Home. She was the widow of Charles Rzeznikiewicz who died in 1962. Family members include her daughter, Mrs. George (Jane) Provost of Litchfield; one grandson and several nephews, nieces and cousins. In Her Life: She was very proud of her only grandson, Jeffrey Provost of Stratham. She was also survived by a sister-in-law, Josephine Blixt of Manchester. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Monday evening from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
