DORIS J. TWAROG
MANCHESTER â Doris J. (Gallant) Twarog, 84, joined her Savior Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack.
Doris was born on June 5, 1928, in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Jean Henry and Amanda (Chabot) Gallant.
Throughout the years of her employment, she was employed by Manchester Knitted Fashions and also Velcro USA. Her and her late husband Richard also were owners of Echo Grove Campground in Hooksett.
Mrs. Twarog was a porcelain doll collector, an avid reader, spent many hours completing word puzzles and also enjoyed sewing. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Alpine Snowshoe Club in the 1940's,
Members of her family include; her son, Richard J. Twarog and his wife Susan, of Bedford, NH; four daughters, Diane C. Larish, of Manchester; Donna M. DesMeules and her husband Chuck, of Alexander, NC; Sandra L. Twarog, of Manchester; Julie C. Bussiere and her husband Scott, of Hooksett; seven grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one sister, Murielle R. Hall, of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Twarog was predeceased by her husband, Richard Henry Twarog, who died in 1987.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 10:00 AM at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Avenue, in Manchester. Interment will take place at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
