Doris C. Yankee

Doris C. (Racette) Yankee, 95 of Bedford, NH died on Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Community Hospice House, in Merrimack, NH.
Mrs. Yankee was born on June 24, 1924, in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Alfred and Alice (Lemire) Racette. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Yankee was employed as a bookkeeper and worked at W. F. Schonlands. She also assisted in her husband's businesses for many years.
Members of her family include; her two daughters, JoAnn Gallagher and her husband, James of Merrimack, NH; Donna Laliberte and her husband James, of Bedford, NH; 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James A. Yankee, her son, James R. Yankee and by a great granddaughter, Kayla Laliberte.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019, 9 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054, in memory of Mrs. Yankee.
