DOROTHY F. BOERKE
FRANCONIA, NH Dorothy F. Boerke, age 88, passed away on August 23, 2005 in the Lafayette Center in Franconia, NH.
Dorothy was born a daughter to Edward and Ida (Coop) Diamond on July 15, 1917 in San Francisco, CA.
Dorothy was a U.S. Marshall for the U. S. Government and also worked for U. S. Attorney Jay Stevens in Washington, DC until the mid 1970s. She traveled around the world and loved the Arts. Dorothy was a painter of portraits and landscapes and was a very talented craftsperson.
Surviving family members include three daughters, Sharon Griffin of San Mateo, CA, Gail South of Burleigh, ID, and Marsha Luce of Franconia, NH; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Adam T. Boerke, predeceased her in 1965.
SERVICES A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, Littleton Chapel. Burial will be in the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Francisco, CA.
